Roberta Giaitzoglou Watkinson is a British/Greek illustrator currently living in the UK.
With a background in graphic design and comics, Roberta has worked in both advertising and publishing. She is especially interested in themes of fashion, folklore, and magic.
She co-created the award-winning collaborative anthology Smutcomic, for which she was awarded Best Art Direction at the Greek Comics Awards in 2022.
From 2019 to 2024, she worked as an in-house illustrator in TEFL publishing, creating images for all ages, during which time she discovered she thoroughly enjoys drawing for children.
Following this discovery, she moved to the UK to study for an MA in Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art and is loving it <3
